Jralo for Shopify ยท coming to the Shopify App Store
Jralo for Shopify checks your storefront for accessibility and website problems, keeps a dated record of every check, and can show a live Monitored by Jralo badge. It runs inside Shopify admin and is billed on your Shopify bill.
The app is built and in Shopify's review, so it is not in the App Store yet. Until it is, the free check here works for any Shopify store, by web address.
What it does
Jralo opens your storefront in a real browser, like a visitor, and tests the homepage and up to 5 linked pages against the WCAG 2.2 level A and AA rules that automated testing can check. The same visit finds broken links, page errors, files that fail to load and slow pages.
Each problem is named in plain words, with how serious it is, where it is and what it means. No separate account: you use your Shopify login.
On paid plans your store is checked every day. Every check goes into a tamper-evident log, stamped daily by an outside timestamp authority, which you can export as CSV or PDF.
Switch on the badge in your theme editor, in four styles. It is a theme app extension: no theme code is changed, and it disappears by itself if the checks stop.
For themes connected to GitHub, Jralo's AI agent prepares fixes as a pull request for you to review and merge. It does not edit themes that are not connected to GitHub.
Plans and fix cycles are charged on your Shopify bill. You can change or cancel a plan inside the app at any time.
Automated testing finds many, not all, accessibility problems. Jralo reports what its checks found; it does not say a store meets any law or standard.

Website Mechanic fix cycles are optional one-time charges: $49 for 1, or $129 for 3. They never expire, and a run that opens no pull request returns its cycle. Prices in USD. Plans renew every 30 days and are charged by Shopify; you can change or cancel inside the app.
Questions
Not yet. It has been built and is going through Shopify's review. Until it is listed, you can check your Shopify store here by web address and keep the same record.
Only what any visitor can see: your public storefront pages. It asks Shopify for no access to your products, orders or customers.
No. Jralo finds and records problems and helps you fix them. Automated testing finds many, not all, accessibility problems, and no tool can truthfully say a store meets a law. Jralo never says that about any store.
No. It works only when your theme is connected to a GitHub repository. It opens a pull request there; when you merge it, Shopify updates the theme from GitHub.
No. Checking by web address keeps working for Shopify stores. The app puts the same checks, record and badge inside Shopify admin and bills through Shopify. The two are separate accounts.
Your plan ends and your public record is taken down at once. Shopify asks Jralo to erase the shop's data 48 hours later, and Jralo erases all of it.
